Tuarang honey is honey from wild giant bees that nest in Tuarang trees in the tropical rainforests of Pahang, Malaysia. About 100 beehives are built in one tree. This honey is harvested by a group of professional honey harvesters called "honey hunters" among the "Orang Asli" (natives) who live in nearby villages. They climb these big trees with only traditional tools: a nail about 15 cm long, a torch, and a container. This work, which involves the risk of being stung by bees or falling, is done at the risk of their lives. Tuarang honey contains enzymes, vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and many other nutrients, and is said to be particularly excellent in antioxidants, making it a true gift from the Malaysian jungle.

How to take
